What our students are saying:

I’ve been attending Christopher’s workshops for the past seven years, and I can’t rave enough about them. His techniques not only teach you valuable acting skills, they are emotionally freeing. He provides a safe, judgement free environment where you can hone your craft. And above all, these workshops are so much fun. They’ve allowed me to meet some really interesting people with common interests. Many of them have become great friends.

Christopher guides us based on the Sanford Meisner principle that "acting is the reality of doing, fully and truthfully, under imaginary circumstances." That is the fun of acting, but also the great challenge: to be authentic. Christopher gives actors the tools to define and create a character, and provides a safe space to allow us full expression of whatever emotions and vulnerabilities arise as we do. It is transformative.

I have been studying with Christopher Rollings for several years. The acting technique he teaches is simple in concept, but not easy to master. As he often says, actors are “emotional detectives,” and as such, we must develop the ability to listen outwardly to our scene partners while also tuning inward to our own emotional cues.

Christopher gives his full, undivided attention while actors work and consistently offers thoughtful, personalized adjustments. I highly recommend his workshops—you are guaranteed to grow as an artist.

Christopher Rollings is one of the premier directors and acting coaches that I have worked with throughout my 20+ years of acting. His methods not only build a strong acting foundation to develop your characters, his feedback and tools provide actors with best practices to be authentic and equipped with motivation of real human behavior. Working with Christopher will do more than provide you with an insight as an actor, you will make a Breakthrough that will propel you!

I recently attended my first acting workshop with Christopher Rollings, and it was an incredibly positive experience. As someone new to acting, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but Christopher created a welcoming and supportive environment right from the start.

The workshop was extremely helpful—I walked away with a variety of practical tips and techniques that I can continue to build on. What stood out most was how safe and encouraging the space felt. I felt comfortable stepping outside my comfort zone and trying new things without fear of judgment.

Christopher provides clear, thoughtful feedback that helps you improve while still building your confidence. I would highly recommend this workshop to anyone, whether you’re just starting out or looking to grow your skills further.

The Acting Workshop enables students to step outside of their comfort zone in a non-judgmental environment. Christopher Rollings pays close attention to each person and is available for discussion during or after the workshop. Also, Chris has excellent knowledge in the acting field so if your dream is to become an actor or you are just curious the Acting Workshop is a great place to start.

The acting workshop is a surreal experience. It enables us to step out of our normal day to day lives and learn what it is to be either ourselves or someone else. Christopher Rollings enables us to be free on stage yet learn the necessary skills and movement to maximize our talents. We grow incrementally in each class we participate in. Regardless of your talent, experience or skill set there is a place for you in these classes.
